Dear Jon, I am someone who thanks YOU frequently, often and regularly! Your creation of Imerman Angels was EXACTLY what I needed when I was diagnosed with cancer 20 years ago this year. Having a dedicated mentor who helped me to feel seen, heard and supported through my journey after becoming a mentor angel himself was the turning point to successfully navigating my anxiety, depression and treatment side effects. YOU have created something beautiful, necessary and far reaching. The fact that we experienced a teacher-student relationship so many years ago that turned on its axis to me becoming the "student" and you and my mentor becoming the "teacher(s)" is a testimony to the affirming circle of life. I’m excited to share my appreciation for Imerman Angels’ mission. My best friend’s youngest sister was diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer, and when I was sharing resources, Imerman Angels topped the list. My friend couldn’t stop describing how incredible it was to be matched with someone who truly understood her experience and could connect on that level. Knowing someone can offer that kind of support feels extraordinary. Her sister is now in remission, and my friend just received her first match as a mentor angel. I’m so grateful to you and Imerman Angels, and I had to share that deep gratitude. Thank you so much!

It is rare to find someone who is willing to help out a fellow human and collaborator in the way that Jonny does. When you ask him if he can help with something, he genuinely takes a moment and almost always takes a concrete action. Thank you for being so generous to others in the impact space! You set a true example for others.

Jonny Immerman is an exceptional individual, a role model, a mentor, and above all, a great friend of mine. I have been deeply moved and inspired by his passion for helping cancer survivors and his dedication to supporting emerging startup companies through the various nonprofit organizations with which he is involved. I only recently met Jonny at Verci in NYC, and from the moment I met him, I could see what a bundle of positivity he is. Jonny is the kindest person I've ever met. He truly cherishes every human interaction with no ego. He's always giving his time to help entrepreneurs, inspire others with his amazing story of fighting cancer, building a nonprofit (Imerman Angels) to help others with cancer, and ClozTalk, a B Corp that helps nonprofits with beautiful apparel. To me specifically, he's supported me through the lowest lows, and supports every idea, inspiring me to start The Gratitude Network, as well as 1pb.org to help other entrepreneurs, and to more graciously give every day in small and big ways. Most importantly, Jonny is an inspiration in health, conscious living, where he prioritizes exercise, healthy food, and meaningful relationships.
